Matthijs Geise studeerde Interaction Design aan de Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. Als multidisciplinair creative coder werkte hij ruim 20 jaar voor communicatiebureaus, softwarebedrijven en als zelfstandige. Bij PostNL werkte hij als frontend developer aan de website, app, e-mailontwikkeling en een volledige brand refresh. Matthijs Geise studied Interaction Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. As a multidisciplinary creative coder, he spent over 20 years working for communication agencies, software companies and as an independent freelancer. At PostNL he worked as a frontend developer on the website, app, email development and a full brand refresh.
Naast zijn technische achtergrond heeft hij een sterk oog voor branding, UI/UX en creatieve strategie. Hij werkt met een netwerk van schrijvers, videoproducers en specialisten voor grotere projecten. In zijn vrije tijd produceert hij muziek. Alongside his technical background, he has a strong eye for branding, UI/UX and creative strategy. He works with a network of writers, video producers and specialists for larger projects. In his spare time he produces music.
In 2025 richtte Matthijs Roffanova op met één doel: zijn brede technische en creatieve expertise inzetten voor het Nederlandse en Europese MKB. De boekhouder bij een bouwbedrijf hoeft niet 8 uur per week bezig te zijn met herinneringen versturen. De salesmanager hoeft geen leads te missen omdat er geen tijd is voor opvolging. Dat kan beter. In 2025, Matthijs founded Roffanova with one goal: applying his broad technical and creative expertise to Dutch and European SMEs. The bookkeeper at a construction company shouldn't spend 8 hours per week sending reminders. The sales manager shouldn't miss leads because there's no time for follow-up. There's a better way.
